Welcome to Seattle Run Tours, an eco-friendly premier running tour company!
Why ride, float or fly in an oily machine when you can run right next to the people and places of the Emerald City? Seattle Run Tours offers runners a healthy and Green tour through the nooks, crannies and great historic districts of Seattle.
Run past the same corridors, markets, and neighborhoods as Seattle’s former and modern pioneers. Hear a detailed history of the City’s battle with prohibition and prostitution, its friendship with Chief Seattle, its bridges and curious feats of engineering. See and learn how it all started: Starbucks, Microsoft, the Space Needle, EMP, the Troll, and Gas Works Park.
Discover Pike Place Market at the waterfront and see the world-famous fish throwers, smell fresh cut flowers and fruits grown on family farms, laugh with the street performers and hear the lively singers and songwriters. Feel the pavement, and learn where to find soul of Seattle: Belltown’s night life, hidden restaurants in Fremont, explosive music scenes in Capital Hill, and where to catch the Seahawks, Mariners and Sonics! If you want to paint the town red, we'll provide you with a list of all the hot happy hour places in Seattle that integrate Pacific Northwest fare with classic recipes. We know the local spots for family outings and ethic cuisine. After our tours, you'll have an appetite, and you'll be happy to help Seattle's kids, because we donate 5% of all proceeds to Seattle Children's Hospital.
Why A Running Tour?
We don't like to sit on a stinky diesel bus to experience a new city, you probably don't either. The Company founder was frustrated by buses with stinky fumes, that couldn’t maneuver through Seattle’s historic alleys, huge passenger vehicles that polluted both the air and the sea, and tours that promoted a sedentary lifestyle, but missed the best Seattle restaurants. The solution was to start a healthy tour company that revealed the known and hidden secrets of the city, but did it all from a local’s perspective--from the ground up!
Can I Do It?
